LOVA DELIS

Lova Delis is a visual poet born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. In 2018 she made Dayton, Ohio her home. She works primarily with acrylic painting and analog collage.

Her passion for creativity was nurtured and influenced by her father from an early age, and she grew up playing in the print shop he worked in. This fostered a love for paper and glue, etc, and eventually led her to discovering the mail art network and meeting her mentor and partner, Chris Cathead Reynolds. She is inspired by daily life, current events, and artist friends.

Her work can be found in national journals and global anthologies such as Porter Gulch and Glitchy Womyn. She has shown work in group and solo exhibitions in galleries across the US. Lova was one of 12 to be awarded the 2023 Artist Opportunity Grant (funded by the Montgomery County Arts & Cultural District and administered by Culture Works) for her Analog Glitch series.
