Tina Mozelle Braziel
Tina Mozelle Braziel, winner of the 2017 Philip Levine Prize for Poetry, directs the Ada Long Creative Writing Workshop at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Known by Salt (Anhinga Press) is her first book. Her poems also h ave appeared in her chapbook, Rooted by Thirst (Porkbelly Press), and in The Cincinnati Review, Southern Humanities Review, Tampa Review, and other journals. She and her husband, novelist James Braziel, live and write in a glass cabin that they are building by hand on Hydrangea Ridge.
